Buy a Boat for UBBC

For supporters considering making a large contribution to the Nonesuch Rowing Foundation, the outright purchase of a new boat is a great way to make a large and longstanding impact on rowing at Bristol.

In the past supporters have purchased boats for the club as individuals, groups of former crew-mates, and as squad members from a particular era of UBBC.

Supporters who purchase a boat will have the choice of name of the boat and will be invited to name the boat at a naming ceremony.

Please see below for typical boat prices and the donations required to make a purchase. All donations made by UK taxpayers with an accompanying Gift Aid declaration are eligible for Gift Aid, boosting a donation by 25p for every £1 donated. Donations made by UK higher rate and additional rate taxpayers are eligible for tax repayments, which can lower the net cost of the boat purchase.
