How We Make Our Impact
Since 2014, our supporters have provided UBBC with…

One way the Nonesuch Rowing Foundation widens access to and encourages participation in rowing is by offering individual grants to students at the University of Bristol and members of Bristol’s community. These grants are intended for those who would otherwise not be able to participate in rowing due to financial constraints.
The types of activities that these funds are intended for include, but are not limited to; training camp costs, transport/accommodation/race fees, and essential club racing kit.

A large and modern fleet of boats is essential to maximise participation in rowing. The Nonesuch Rowing Foundation provides club grants to the University of Bristol Boat Club (UBBC) for the purchase of boats and equipment which will be available for use by students at the University of Bristol and members of Bristol’s community.
Since 2015 our supporters have generously donated over £122,000 worth of equipment to allow hundreds of students to row at Bristol.
The types of equipment that these funds are intended for include, but are not limited to; rowing boats, oars, and their accessories necessary for rowing, safety launches, other safety equipment, and vehicles for transport to training and events.
